Easter 2014

Hello, my lovelies!

So Saturday my ladybug colored her Easter eggs to get them ready for the Easter egg hunt on Sunday. She loves coloring eggs and getting them all pretty for the egg hunt.

Sunday, we started off with Sunday school and then church service, and then went home for a cookout, Easter egg hunt, and it was such a beautiful day we spent nearly the entire day outside playing. We ran and played with the dogs, played baseball, soccer, basketball, and I don’t remember what else.

The baseball ended our night with a trip to ER as my baby boy hit a line drive right into my ladybug's eye. She is fine, but she screamed like nobody's business and it swelled up like a crater and turned some beautiful colors which were all very short-lived. The swelling is minimal now and you can barely tell it was bruised at all. Amazing how the young can handle such injuries. Now had that been me … well let’s not even go there.

Anyway, we had a wonderful day, and I hope you all did as well. Please share with us below what you did for Easter?

❝You can choose to love or hate, show compassion or be heartless, be understanding or indifferent, be forthright and honest or dishonest and lie, be helpful or useless, be kind or mean, be proactive or reactive, speak wisely or foolishly or perhaps not at all, and be mindful or oblivious.

You get to choose every minute of every day how you treat others, how you treat yourself, respond to circumstances, and generally behave. At the end of the day how you chose will determine how you left others feeling, how you ended the day feeling yourself, and the person you are becoming. It's never to late to choose differently and start becoming your best self.❞   ~ Rhonda Holscher
