Halloween shopping … well actually any shopping with my baby girl is never boring. She is such a total girl. She loves to shop and spend money on frilly things, and every little girl loves playing dress-up so when Halloween comes around she gets extra excited because she knows she can go play dress-up with all those really cool costumes.
As you can see by the pics above she loves to dress up and pose. As long she is happy that’s all that matters. 😉
We also had a spaghetti dinner with trick or treating to follow at the school a few nights ago. So my baby girl got to come home with a small bucket full of candy. It was fun and short-lived, and my baby boy actually attended with us this time. He is not really a baby anymore at 20 years old, but he will always be my baby. He doesn’t like to attend school events and the like anymore now that he is so grown up … sigh …
Trick-or-treat was canceled on Halloween due to nasty weather. First time ever in our neighborhood it was canceled. We used that time to go to some indoor events. We went trick-or-treating at the local mall, and then to a community Halloween party given by the church.
Then we went actual trick-or-treating the following night in our neighborhood. Well, actually her brother took her and I stayed behind and passed out candy. I’d been struggling with bronchitis and a sinus infection so I thought she’d have more fun with her brother and anyway. She of course came home with a pumpkin full of candy and someone gave her a black tea bag. LOL!
Anyway, she was very excited about getting to do extra events this year and loves all the extra candy she got from it; however, she was not very happy with the fact that I make her get out only a couple of pieces a day, and put the rest away. LOL!
So, I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween and would love to hear what you did this year. Just drop me a line below.
